Kings Island

Ticket Donations - KI Cares

At Kings Island, we are dedicated to making people happy by providing them with fun, excitement and memorable experiences.

The Kings Island Cares charity ticket program is now closed for 2008.

We appreciate your patience as our committee continues to review the many requests received. Due to the volume, it may take upwards to four weeks to receive a response.

For those who have already been awarded tickets, please know that the mailing of tickets will begin in the coming weeks.

If you have any questions, you may email your questions to kicharity@visitkingsisland.com Thank you for all that you do to better our community and the lives in it!

This program will re-open in February 2009.

Requests we will CONSIDER:

  • Organizations from our bordering states of Indiana, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and West Virginia as well as our home State of Ohio.
  • Organizations focused on the needs of children, families, and community – be it through social programs, educational systems, or the medical world.

Requests we CAN’T CONSIDER:

  • Individuals or individual families
  • For-profit organizations
  • Religious groups utilizing donations for fundraising events or other activities that do not directly benefit children
  • Political parties
  • Any organization that discriminates due to color, sex, nationality, sexual orientation or creed
PLEASE NOTE:
  • KI Cares does not donate monetarily.
  • KI Cares does not donate season passes; only single day tickets.
  • It is important to accurately complete all the requested information on the application.
  • Do not exceed maximum number of character spaces fields where stated. Exceeding the maximum will result in system error and loss of information.
  • Submission of application does not guarantee inclusion into KI Cares nor does it guarantee that the requested number of tickets will actually be awarded.  Our committee will do its best to satisfy the needs of all organizations while at the same time try and touch as many as possible with a donation.
  • Participation in previous KI Cares programs does not guarantee automatic placement in future years.  Each organization must stand on its own merits every year and against the thousands of other equally wonderful organizations.
  • For your application to be been successfully transmitted, after you click on the “Submit” button, you will receive a confirming “Thank You”.  If you do not receive, your transmission was not completed.

HOW CAN YOU APPLY?

Ticket donations are provided to those non-profit organizations meeting all requirements and are subject to ticket availability.  Donations are limited and a ticket request does not guarantee a donation.  KI Cares does not donate monetarily.  Applications will be accepted for events/activities occurring February 2008-March 2009.  The application process will close for the year 11:59pm, February 29, 2008 and no other requests will be accepted.

Kings Island does not accept written or verbal requests for ticket donations.
